solarIQ360 Request

Terms of Use

Last reviewed 18 August 2026

These cover this website and the free material on it. They are not the inspection agreement — the inspection itself is governed by a separate written agreement signed before any work begins.

This is not legal advice. These pages describe how this website and this business actually operate. If something here matters to your transaction, ask us — and for anything that turns on the law, ask your own attorney.
01What this covers

The website, not the inspection

This page covers your use of solariq360.com: the calculators, the guides, the directory, the articles and the sample report. Using the site means accepting it.

The inspection is a separate contract. Scope, exclusions, liability and everything else about the work itself live in the written inspection agreement, which is provided and signed before work begins. Nothing on this website varies that agreement, and nothing in that agreement is summarized accurately enough here to be relied on.

02Requests

A request is not an appointment

Sending the request form does not create a confirmed appointment, a booking or a contract for services, and it does not reserve a date. There is no calendar on this site and no self-booking — deliberately.

We call you to confirm what is on the property, agree scope, price and timing, and answer questions. Work begins after that conversation and the signed inspection agreement.

Prices shown are starting prices for a typical residential system. Battery and storage inspection costs additional, larger or commercial systems are quoted, and rush scheduling carries a fee and depends on availability. We confirm the actual price before scheduling — you will not be surprised by an invoice.

03The tools

Estimates, not appraisals or engineering

The calculators produce estimates from the figures you enter and from stated assumptions which are printed on each tool. Real systems, real weather, real rate plans and real shading all differ.

They are not financial advice, not an appraisal, not a valuation and not engineering analysis. Do not put a calculator output into a listing, a disclosure or a negotiation as though it were a measured fact about a specific property. That is exactly why this site does not publish an estimated dollar figure for what solar adds to a home.

Utility rates change. Where a tool shows an "as of" date, take it seriously.

04Third-party information

The directory is a starting point

The transfer directory and the guides describe how other companies' processes generally work. We do not control any of them. Servicers, contact routes, requirements, fees and timelines change without notice, and portfolios change hands.

Company facts carry the date they were verified. Treat everything about a third party as a starting point and confirm the current position with that company directly before relying on it in a transaction.

Naming a company is identification, not endorsement, recommendation or criticism. We have no financial relationship with any of them.

Links to other websites are for convenience. We are not responsible for what is on them.

05Brokerage names

Identification only

Where brokerage or team names appear on this site, they identify transactions we have worked in. They do not imply endorsement, sponsorship, partnership or affiliation, and no brokerage has reviewed or approved this site.

Company and product names belonging to other people remain theirs.

06Guidance, not advice

What we are not

The articles and guides are general information about solar in California real estate. They are not legal, tax, financial, appraisal or engineering advice, and reading them does not create a professional relationship.

We do not complete disclosures for sellers, we do not advise how any C.A.R. form should be answered, and we do not provide code certification or roof certification. Where a question is legal, it belongs with an attorney; where it is about value, it belongs with an appraiser.

We are not a solar installer, contractor or repair company, and we do not sell solar equipment. Where work is needed we say so and the choice of contractor is yours.

07The sample report

A composite, not a real property

The published sample report is a composite illustration. It does not describe a real property, customer or inspection, and no representation is made that any particular inspection will produce similar findings — no two solar systems are the same.

Site content, layout, wording and the report format are ours. You are welcome to read, print and share a link; please do not republish substantial parts as your own.

08Availability, liability, law

The formal bits

The site is provided as it is. We do not guarantee it will be available uninterrupted or free of error, and we may change or remove material at any time.

To the fullest extent the law allows, solarIQ360 is not liable for loss arising from use of this website or reliance on the free material on it. Liability for the inspection itself is dealt with in the inspection agreement, not here.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California.
